What makes the difference?
Educators at The Darnell School want to make a difference in students’ lives, helping them reach their fullest potential.
How do we make that difference?
- We are singularly focused on helping our students lead independent and active lives in the communities.
- We believe that all children should receive the highest quality educational services that will make a difference in their lives. Our expertise in ABA allows us to adapt our educational and clinical strategies to meet each student’s learning style.
- We build collaborative relationships with schools, families and other professionals so our students have the necessary tools to help them live independently. Our home parent training program offers families practical strategies and training for addressing some of the challenges they face.
- Our career and vocational training program provides students with job opportunities tailored to their specific interest and abilities.
The Darnell School is a fully approved special education program, certified by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Second Education’s Office of Approved Special Educational Schools, and we are proud to have received the highest possible rating on our DESE Mid-Cycle Review.
