HMEA, Inc. is a non-profit organization that affirms and promotes the values, dreams and potential of people with developmental disabilities through education, support and life experiences.

HMEA currently supports 2,700 children and adults with autism and/or developmental disabilities, and their families in more than 110 Central Massachusetts communities.

HMEA has a long history of providing innovative services in school, at work, at home and in the community to individuals with disabilities.

HMEA is committed to working in partnership with people with autism and/or developmental disabilities and their families to create individualized supports that best meet their unique needs.  Recognizing that excellent services can only be provided by qualified staff, HMEA actively supports staff in their own learning and professional development.
